Complex particle transport in complex flows with environmental applications

This summer school aims to gather a combination of junior and senior scientists with research interests in the fate and transport of complex particles in complex flows with diverse applications such as plastics pollution in the natural environment. 

Junior researchers are defined as undergraduates accepted into a graduate programme to start 2025, current graduate students, and postdocs. Senior researchers are defined as those with independent positions. The workshop is organised so that there are 5 introductory lectures each day followed by a hands-on activity led by invited lecturers. These lectures and activities will span across different research methods (laboratory, computational, theoretical) as well as different topics. In addition to the lectures and activities, each participant will have the opportunity (but not be required) to present their research to give all participants a global overview on the current research in the field.
