Sara received her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas in May 2020 and joined the group at UW-Madison in August 2021. She is a PhD student under the supervision of Professors Pujara and Franck (ME). Sara has previously participated in research on designing a 6-DOF platform for a scaled wind turbine at UT-Dallas. She is interested in fluid dynamics and renewable energy, and her research focuses on exploring the effects of waves/turbulence on crossflow turbines in waterways.
